How I travel by car along the California beach coast for a week.
If someone asks me what is the best trip ever in my life, I would like to answer that travel along the west coast of California is of the most unforgettable in my life.
We started from Los Angeles and traveled to San Francisco by 101, 1 high way. We have stopped at many beautiful places, we only check and book a hotel during the day, we only use app Booking.com, Airbnb for all the trips. we didn’t know what is exactly where we go so that why we didn’t book any hotel before the trip. All the trips lasted for around 1 week, there are many nice experiences and how beautiful California.
I am a software engineer working in Tokyo and I never travel to the USA before, so this trip is very exciting for me. The only thing I prepared for the trip is reserved for a rental car before 3 months for 9 days with 100 USD.
It is so cheap, right? the car is very good and large enough for 2 people with suite cases.
And here some nice places we have stoped.
- Venice, Santa Monica
It is very close to LA airport around 30 mins by car. After getting the car this is the first place we stop. The beach is very nice and peaceful so we decided to take one night here.
2. Paul Getty
After spending a night in Venice, we started a new day from Monica to Paul Getty Museum, I was surprised so many valuable and ancient pieces of stuff in the museum.
3. Santa Barbara, Lompoc
After a long time at the Paul Getty Museum, we reached Santa Barbara at sunset, driving along the high way 101 at the sunset 🌇 is very wonderful.
We stayed a night at Lompoc, booking the last homestay at Lomboc by Airbnb. The host is Chile-American, the host is very nice. But I was surprised there are not many supermarkets and restaurants here.
There are a lot of funs during our trip, i will try to update … However, i am happy to share the trip with a short video that has been filmed 100% my iPhone 7.
